REGULATIONS, RULES AND GUIDELINES
Congratulations and welcome to the Mr. NC Triangle Leather family! We hope that you are excited about competing and we are glad you will be part of the Mr. NC Triangle Leather Contest. Once you have read guidelines carefully and you have provided all of the information required, please email this application to the address shown below
1. To compete in the Mr. NC Triangle Leather Contest, contestants must legally identify as a gay or Bi male, be 21 years of age or older as of the day of the Mr. NC Triangle Leather Contest and reside in North Carolina. In order to verify your eligibility to compete, you must submit a copy of your government issued photo identification (driver’s license, state ID or passport) with your application.
2. Contestant Applications must be received by Mr NC Triangle Leather as soon as possible, but no later than 1 week prior to the contest . Upon receipt of your full application MRNCTL will send a confirmation advising you we have received it.
3. Mr. NC Triangle Leather Contestants are required to provide all information in this application. Failure to appear as scheduled may result in deducting of points or up to disqualification. MRNCTL reserves the right to remove a contestant from the competition at any time, for any cause.
4. The contest will have 5 Judges, an appointed Tally Master and a Den Daddy. The Tally Master is in charge of managing the calculation and results from the judges. The Den Daddy will be in charge of contestants, helping with assistance and to answer questions.
5. The Mr. NC Triangle Leather Contest will be using the Olympic Scoring system, meaning the highest and lowest scores are dropped and the middle remaining scores are used to determine the winner of the contest. In the event that there is a tie between contestants, the highest and lowest scores will be added back into the contest, to determine a winner. If in the rare event that by adding the lowest and highest scores back into the contest there is still a tie, all judges will come together to ask one final onstage question. The contestant that gives the best answer will be determined the winner by the head judge.
6. Contestants Numbers will be drawn by the contestants, at the Contestant meeting on Friday A badge with your contestant number will be given and must be worn at all times to identify you to the judges for scoring.

I wish to enter the Mr. NC Triangle Leather Contest being held at Flex Night Club Raleigh, N.C... I have read and agree to abide by the rules and guidelines for contestants. I declare that I am over 21 years of age (or will on by the date of the contest) and am otherwise eligible to enter this contest. I further agree that if I am selected as the winner of this contest I will participate as a contestant in Mid Atlantic Leather (MAL) contest, in Washington DC in January, as well as fulfil guidelines set forth for event participation and represented MAL sponsors.
I hereby waive all rights to photos, negative, videotapes, or other images taken of me during the contest including rehearsals, meetings, and associated related activities before and after the contest. These photos, etc. become property of contest producers and venue owners and may be printed, reprinted, published or reproduced in any way or context the owner wishes.
If I am selected as Mr. NC Triangle Leather, I agree to participate in special photo sessions arranged by the Mr NC Triangle Leather Contest and/or the Mid Atlantic Leather producers, I realize that I may be asked to pose nude during one or both of these sessions but may decline per personal choice. Photos taken during these sessions are the property of Mr. NC Triangle Leather and/or the Mid Atlantic Leather producer and I waive all rights to them. I shall receive no compensation for the modelling sessions other than the prizes due me as a contest winner. The owner for event promotion purposes may use all photos, negatives, video or other images resulting from such modelling sessions or from any and all contest activities or other purposes arranged and agreed upon.
I release all claims for compensations for injury, accident and theft from the contest sponsors, that organization’s owners/officers, Mr. NC Triangle Leather producers, Flex Night Club, Mid Atlantic Leather.
MrNCTL contest producers reserve the right to cancel the competition for any reason and without notice, legal or financial obligation to contestants.
I attest that the data on this form is accurate, and authorized use of this information in news articles about me (Legal name will not be divulged if you so indicate. Address and phone will not be given out, nor will any information “confidential”).
